dot mag is a children's conceptual magazine I made for my graphics class. It's printed on tea dyed paper made by me, and hand bound with a fabric cover. You can take the different sections apart and mix them up!

Green Design

A dress and athletic singlets made from recycled street banners - a group project I did for class which was entered into a 'green' competition, and we got an award =) 3 different media photographers came to take photos of us, so we'll be in the papers on Wednesday!

Sorry guys, I feel bad to be the last to post something here!

This is the beginning of a project for photography..about public/collective memories versus individual memories.
The pictures are diptics (I don't know if the english dictionary has this word!), I mean, 2 pictures of the same place:
one is neutral, the other is a mediation in the place, I mean, an interpretation through the memories I have from that place..
The places are always public. This is a room in the music conservatory.

flatstation

a project i did in lovely amsterdam at richard's place. i had to do an identity for an art space in bijlmer, amsterdam.
the bijlmer is a suburb from amsterdam, where many different cultures and religions are living together.
the idea was to create an art space for a beter and more interessting exchange between artists and this multi cultural environment.
so i build with richard an sattelite font. the font is the identity of the whole project. we made invitationcard and a news paper, with i couldn't photograph yet.
we made also vinyl for the room window. after the room was launched i was asked to give a speach about my time in africa.. so i made a poster for it and made alittle exibition.

richard even filmed the speach, so if we ever will have a phisical spectaculaas party or exibition, i can show you some parts of it and give you an image of african bambataaa..

this blog is too stopped...... BAHHHH
